His words, full of despair and confusion, were spread through the voice of his lawyer Monica Moschioni and published by Parma Gazette:
“I am completely stunned. I still haven’t realized what happened. And above all I no longer know who I knew, who Chiara was. I feel like I’ve ended up in a terrible movie. As soon as the procedures allow it, I would like to recognize my children, give them a name and organize a ceremony.”
Samuel was unaware that Chiara was pregnant
The thesis supported and brought forward by Samuel, since the beginning of this tragic story, has always been that he never knew anything about Chiara’s pregnancies. Pregnancies discovered in the worst possible way.
The young man’s lawyer, Moschioni, explained how his client discovered a lot of information about the case through the press:
“We have learned about many developments from the press. We have not yet received a copy of the order, we still do not have a document that officially defines Samuel as the father of the two children. We need a bit of peace and quiet. Let us remember that Samuel is an injured party in this story. Yet certain hasty reconstructions have painted him in the wrong way, alluding to who knows what guilt that he absolutely has not.”
A Castle of Lies
Next Thursday, Chiara Petrolini will have the opportunity to present her version of the facts to the preliminary investigations judge, which, at the moment, is characterised by a mountain of lies and contradictions. Probably, the fear of the judgement of her family, boyfriend and friends would have pushed the young woman to make clumsy attempts to reconstruct the events in such a way as to lighten her position.
At the moment, it is not yet clear whether the 21-year-old, assisted by the lawyer Nicholas Triawill decide to answer the questions or will avail himself of the right not to answer.
Among the many lies declared by the accused, there is also the one regarding the fact that the newborn born on August 7 was stillborn. The medical tests carried out, in fact, revealed that the little one he had breathedbefore losing his life to blood loss due to a rudimentary cutting of the umbilical cord performed with kitchen scissors.
The 21-year-old is also accused of having made a statement about the fact that she actually wanted that child. A theory that has been effectively denied by the discovery by investigators of the nature of her constant and compulsive searches online.
Chiara also denied having taken drugs, but in reality her use of marijuana.
