However, Paramount and Nickelodeon They were looking for their star to shine again on the big screen, so today they confirmed in their official accounts that there is already a new film on the way and even with a release date.
First of all, the title of the movie will be The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants, which based on the name tells us that it could be a narrative in which the protagonist of the franchise gets lost and his friends will have to go look for him wherever he has gone. For its part, the specific day for the release in theaters will be neither more nor less than December 19, 2025.

– “The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie” – Released in 2004, this film takes SpongeBob SquarePants and his friend Patrick on an epic adventure outside of Bikini Bottom to recover King Neptune's crown and save their boss, Mr. Krabs.
