There Nissan Qashqai has received an update, especially on the aesthetic front. The restyling of the Japanese manufacturer’s most popular model, which was the best-selling medium crossover in Italy in the first three months of 2024, will be available in dealerships starting from September. Among the main innovations are i new LED headlights, thinner and with a more aggressive design. The mask has been revisited with a three-dimensional pattern and numerous small satin inserts in the areas under the headlights which recall the theme of daytime running lights. The bumpers have been returned more sporty and muscular, thus completing the renewed look. Furthermore, there are also significant technological upgrades, especially regarding theinfotainment and systems assisted driving.
New Nissan Qashqai dimensions, what changes in the restyling
The 2024 Nissan Qashqai has dimensions that place it in the compact crossover segment, with a length of 4.43 meters, a width of 1.85 meters and a height of 1.62 meters. The step of 2.67 meters helps ensure good stability on the road, while the trunk capacity is equal to 504 litres.
From an aesthetic point of view, the new Qashqai in this restyling presents a further modernized design, with sharp lines and a completely redesigned front for a stronger visual impact. The front grille, inspired by the armor of the Japanese samuraiis composed of three-dimensional elements in glossy black with satin chrome details, creating a distinctive contrast. The front light clusters feature more defined lines and include lens-shaped daytime running lights, while the new rear lights have a modern internal composition with bright red elements.
The bumper has been redesigned and can be glossy black for the top of the range versions or in body color for the new version N-Design. Gloss black finishes on the door moldings and wheel arches, along with new alloy wheels 19″ and 20″, help to emphasize the sporting character of the car. The version N-Connecta in particular it is equipped with 18″ diamond-cut alloy wheels, while the new setup N-Design mounts 20″ alloy wheels.
The range of external colors is enriched with three new options: Pearl White, Pearl Black And Deep Ocean. The latter varies between dark blue and teal depending on the ambient light. All five colors of the Qashqai are also available in versions two-tonewith black roof.
Passenger compartment, the interior of the new Nissan Qashqai
Inside, the Nissan Qashqai features new materials for the seat and dashboard upholstery. The setups Tekna+ And N-Design include inserts in for the first time Alcantara on the seats, with the model name embossed on the upper part of the backrests. The ambient lights, configurable in 64 colorsilluminate the entire dashboard and console.
The infotainment screen, with a diagonal of 10.5″remains unchanged and includes new features such as navigation with Google Maps, which provides reviews of businesses, and the Google voice assistant for controlling the climate control and heated seats. Qashqai Engines 2024
The engine range of the new 2024 Nissan Qashqai remains unchanged, with options ranging from the engine 1.3 turbo petrol with technology mild hybridavailable with powers of 140 or 158 HP (the latter can be combined with the Xtronic automatic transmission and all-wheel drive), up to the revolutionary system E-Power.
The latter combines exclusively electric traction with a high-efficiency petrol engine, used as on-board generator.
In detail, the E-Power system is composed of an electric motor that moves the wheels of the car and a heat engine that produces electricity, without transmitting thermal power directly to the wheels. It offers a driving experience similar to that of a electric vehiclewith brilliant and linear acceleration, but without the need for plug charging: just fill the tank with petrol to fill up on energy.

Nissan ADAS on the 2024 Qashqai
Nissan has optimized digital technologies in the new 2024 Qashqai. Among the most popular features is theAround View Monitor (AVM)which offers a 360° view of the car via quattro perimeter camerasnow enhanced with a 3D function that allows you to individually select one of 8 views to identify hidden obstacles.
The AVM system works with the acoustic detection of moving objects to increase safety during manoeuvres. The wide-angle front camera helps at intersections and when exiting tight spaces, while a new function allows you to save the most used parking spots.
The TFT screen behind the wheel now changes color depending on the driving mode: red for the mode Sportgreen for Echo and light gray for standard mode. Advanced driver assistance systems include a more responsive automatic emergency braking and a lane departure warning system.
The speed limit warning system has been improved, indicating the maximum speed allowed in the instrument panel and warning acoustically in case of excess speed.
Also available is Driver Assist Customwhich allows you to adjust the intervention of the assistance technologies based on the driver’s driving style and memorize the driver’s profile.
Price, how much does the new Qashqai cost
The price of the new Qashqai 2024 starts at approx 28,000 euros to go up. The arrival in Nissan dealerships is expected in September.
