Ford Pro presented the new Ranger MS-RTa super sporty version of the pick-upwhich was created in collaboration with MS-RTa division of M-Sportpartner of Ford in the rally. Based on Ford Ranger of new generation, this model presents avery sporty aestheticalong with a number of suspension and wheel upgrades, as well as a powerful engine 3.0-litre V6 diesel with 240 HP and 600 Nm.
Ford Ranger MS-RT features
The new Ranger MS-RT outside features a front fascia inspired by desert racing Rangers, with a grille a Honeycomb.
The sporty look is completed by shaped side skirtsthe rear bumper with integrated diffuser, the MS-RT graphics on the rear flap and the duck tail spoiler. Standing out laterally are the 21 inch diamond rims, with 275/45 R21 low profile tyres. The enlarged wheel arches extend the overall width of the vehicle by 82mm both front and rear.
The Ranger MS-RT is available in several colors, including Conquer Grey, with Agate Black mirrors and handles. L'special setupwith new stiff shock absorbers at the front, recalibrated rear suspension and an overall reduction in height of 40 mm, ensures greater driving precision and cornering stability.
Motor
Ford's new sports pick-up is powered by a powerful engine 3.0-liter V6 diesel with 240 hp and 600 Nm, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. It is equipped with the new permanent all-wheel drive system e4WDavailable for the Ranger range.
Despite the MS-RT version, it retains the Ranger's superior load capacity 1 ton and a towing capacity of 3,500 kg.
Interior
The interior of the Range double cabin they have been revised in a racing key. The front seats, with lateral support, and the rear ones are sporty, covered in elegant and cruelty-free materials, with blue stitching and MS-RT embroidery. The heated, square-shaped sports steering wheel features a blue indicator positioned at 12 o'clocktypical of racing cars.
Standard equipment includes a touchscreen 12 inch with SYNC 4Atwo-zone automatic temperature control, front and rear parking assist, rear view camera, Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control and Intelligent Speed Limiter.
When it arrives, price
The new Ranger MS-RT will be available to order across Europe, including Italy, with deliveries expected from mid-2024. The price is expected to be higher than 70,000 euros.
Ford MS-RT setup also for the Transit
The Ford MS-RT trim level is also available on Transit Customwith a racing-inspired style and interior and several engine options, including diesel, plug-in hybrid it's completely electric. The maximum load capacity is 6.8 m³ and of 1,124 kg.
Aesthetically, the van features a new aerodynamic bumper, sporty miniskirts and a revamped rear with integrated diffuser. The fully electric version is equipped with a LED strip That connect the headlights.
Under the hood, the Ford E-Transit Custom MS-RT is equipped with a 285 HP (210 kW) electric motor. The version 2 liter EcoBlue diesel It is available in two configurations: one from 170 HP with 8-speed automatic transmission and optional all-wheel drive, and a from 150 HP with six-speed manual transmission. The PHEV delivers 232 hpcombining a 2.5-liter petrol engine with an 11.8 kWh battery.
