After a good 27 years A new cheat code has been discovered for the SEGA Saturn version of Doomthe historic first-person shooter from id Software that completely changed the world of video games.
The secret code was found by user X @memory_fallen and allows you to make the game walls semi-transparent. This way you should no longer have problems passing the levels or, at least, finding the right path.
The cheat
To activate the trickjust pause the game and press: X, Right, B, Y, X, Right, B, Y.
It doesn’t take much, then. The cheat’s discoverer also posted images showing Doom for Saturn with and without the cheat active.
The Saturn version of Doom was never particularly appreciated by fans of the seriesdue to its lower quality compared to the others. In this case, however, we are talking about a hidden bonus function, so we imagine that many will still appreciate discovering this curiosity.
It must also be said that it is extraordinary how long it took to discover it, probably because we are not talking about a very popular version, around which, therefore, the collective efforts of the network have not been concentrated that much.
