One of the great surprises that appeared during this year was the return to the path of Dead Island 2, a video game that has long been thought of as a canceled project because it has not been discussed in years. And although there was recently talk of a delay of months, it seems that the developers want us to keep in mind its existence.
Through a new video, we are shown several minutes in which we have the gameplay, which details some of the combat with the living dead of the place, to which is added the extensive open world to explore. From what you can see, violence will be the order of the day, with different animations in which our character defeats enemies.
Take a look at the trailer in question:
In addition, it is revealed that the user can set all kinds of traps so that the zombies fall unconscious in the area, as well as the use of special powers that are out of the ordinary. All of this is accompanied by next-gen-like graphics, and that’s not the total revelation, since there are zombies of different types and sizes as well.
It is worth commenting, that all this was revealed in a special showcase of the game. Check it out below:
This is a description of its part of cooperative play:
As a proper RPG experience, Dead Island 2 offers plenty of exciting quests, a cast of crazy characters, and an exciting pulp story, to truly immerse you in its twisted universe. The replayability is guaranteed. Throw in some over-the-top co-op for up to three players, and you’re left in Los Angeles for a very long (and bloody) ride.
Remember that the game launches on April 28, 2022. This for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

Editor’s note: These kinds of light-hearted experiences are obviously something that is needed every year in the industry, so it will be fun to check it out on your way out. There are a few months left, but they will fly by.
