We are exactly one month away from May 4, also known as May the 4th, a date that many fans of Star Wars used to commemorate the original work of George Lucas. In this way, Lucasfilms has revealed that in just 31 days a new animated series from this universe far, far away will be available, and it is about Tales of the Empire.
As you probably remember, it came to Disney+ a long time ago Tales of the Jedi, an anthology series focused on the characters that are part of this order. Now, to celebrate the upcoming May the 4th, Lucasfilms will give us a new animated anthology show, known as Tales of the Empire, which will be starred by the villains.
Tales of the Empire will be available next May 4 on Disney+, and will offer us six animated shorts focused on characters from the Galactic Empire, such as Morgan Elsbeth, whom we saw in The Mandalorian and Ahsoka. Similarly, We will be able to see once again classic characters like Grand Admiral Thrawn and the Grand Inquisitor, although it seems that he will have a new voice compared to what we heard in Star Wars Rebels.
For all the fans, Tales of the Empire offers a perspective not so explored outside of comics and books. Similarly, These stories are canonso they will give us the opportunity to learn a little more about well-known and important characters for the past and future of Star Wars.
Remember, Tales of the Empire will arrive on Disney+ next May 4 on Disney+. On related topics, it resumes production of Star Wars: Squadron. Likewise, the remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic still in development.
Editor's Note:
I wasn't a big fan of Tales of the Jedibecause it was focused on content that we already know, but Tales of the Empire promises a different perspective. Although I would have liked a new season of Star Wars: Visionsthis will be a great way to celebrate May the 4th.
