Juarez City.- The body of a man in an advanced state of decomposition was found tonight in a wooden room located in the area known as “Los Kilómetros”.
The putrid smell alerted residents in the area who were passing by and reported the incident to the 911 emergency number.
Authorities went to the scene, located near Lucero Street and the Casas Grandes highway in the Kilometer 29 neighborhood.
According to an investigator from the Northern District Attorney’s Office, due to the advanced state of decomposition it was not possible to determine if there were any signs of violence. The cause of death will be determined by autopsy.
