He estimated that as part of a black figure, cases could double.
The assaults have been in streets surrounding Viveros, as well as in avenues that surround it, such as Mexico, Madrid, Melchor Ocampo and Progreso.
The meeting is scheduled for next Wednesday, at the offices of the capital government.
Members of the Association will participate, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (Semarnat), instance in charge of Viveros, of the Secretary of the Environment of the City (Headquarters) and of the Coyoacan Mayor’s Office.
“The new wave (of robberies) is consisting of glazing and theft of computer of the cars,” Ornelas commented in an interview.
“We clearly understand that it is, in particular, a band,” he concluded.
In addition, he explained that also in recent months, there have been five events inside the Viveros de Coyoacán in which runners were threatened by unknown individuals so that they would be handed over, mainly, cell phones.
The events occurred in the vicinity of gate 5, between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
He pointed out that in recent days, personnel who monitor the property arrested some people who are linked to said assaults and, since then, no robberies have been recorded inside.
“They threatened that they had a weapon, but they never had a weapon, that is, they did not have a knife or a gun, but they threatened and there were four people.
“Inwardly, the problem is controlled, but outwardly, we continue with that, we continue fighting and for that we are seeking to have this type of contact (the meeting),” he said.
He added that since September 2018, at the gate located at the intersection of Madrid and Mexico Avenuethe Association set up a wardrobe in which users who pay 250 pesos a year can leave the belongings they usually have in cars.
“We always invite the community that instead of leaving belongings in the cars, they leave them here, while they are going to do their exercise.
