For being the gateway to the Games, the lighting and transfer of the Bolivarian fire It will be an additional attraction that will contribute to the sports and cultural promotion of the department of Cesar, granting a well-deserved recognition to the athletes designated to carry the torch, and to young people and children with high performance projection.
The first stage of this journey of the Bolivarian fire begins this Wednesday, June 15 at 5:00 pm, from the Quinta San Pedro Alejandrino, in Santa Marta, place where the initial lighting of the torch will take place, with the presence of the general director of Valledupar 2022, Ana Edurne Camacho, representatives of the Bolivarian Sports Organization, authorities of Magdalena and Cesar, and Colombian sports leaders.
Bogotá, Chimichagua and Valledupar, will be, on June 16, 17 and 21, respectively, the next stops of the flame of the XIX Valledupar 2022 Bolivarian Games.

The tour will continue until reaching the capital of César where the Bolivarian cauldron will be lit at the Inauguration Ceremony, on June 24 at the Armando Maestre stadium and which will symbolically start the most important multi-sport event in the capital of Cesar.
