According to the channel, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, during his visit to Israel, will discuss with the country's leadership the need to complete the military campaign in the Gaza Strip as quickly as possible. Earlier in the day, Blinken said Middle Eastern countries wanted to normalize ties with Israel. But he clarified that this is possible subject to the cessation of hostilities in the Gaza Strip and the existence of a plan for the implementation of a two-state solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
On January 7, a member of the leadership of the Palestinian Hamas movement, Osama Hamdan, said that more than 30 thousand people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank have become victims of the actions of the Israeli military since the beginning of the escalation.
