The Naturgy group has announced a package of measures for its clients in the regions affected by DANA that hit the peninsular Levant last week. In a statement they explain that their technicians will carry out free inspections of the facilities to guarantee their safety, repair or replace gas installations and equipment (boilers, heaters…) and will financially help with the replacement of appliances (washing machine and refrigerator).
This is in addition to another package of measures that the group already launched last week and that includes the postponement of all electricity, gas and energy service bills for households, SMEs and the self-employed in the affected areas.
The company assures that the latest measures adopted will have a potential impact on approximately 25,000 homes and businesses in the Valencian Community, in aid that could have a total cost of around 15 million euros.
In the statement, the energy company also explains that the energy supply has already begun to recover in the areas where its teams have been able to access. There are still interruptions, but they assure that they are due to the requirements of the emergency services.
