O Czech Republic’s head of diplomacy Jan Lipavsky, told a press conference that, by adopting the exclusion zone, the organization would place itself within the conflict. “NATO is a defensive organization, and we have to defend our members. That is our task,” said the Czech chancellor. Lipavsky also assured that the Czech Republic and other states are supplying weapons to Ukraine, which will allow the country itself to apply the no-fly zone.
In turn, the Romanian Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescusaid that NATO must accelerate the creation of the new battalion that is being mobilized to the country, under the leadership of France.
