NATO Deputy Secretary General from Romania called politicians in his country incompetent
NATO Deputy Secretary General from Romania Mircea Geoana accused politicians in his country of incompetence. His words leads Agerpres.
“The state was and is being led by an increasingly incompetent political generation, deprived of a sense of true love for the country. Over the years, we have seen too many politicians struggle between greed and impotence,” he said.
Geoana emphasized that in Romania there are many politicians who do not know economics, legislation, and do not have confirmed qualifications, but they head governments, ministries, departments and state-owned companies. He added that such politicians have not learned anything in their lives, do not have basic knowledge, but find themselves in positions on which the fate of millions of Romanians depends.
Earlier, the NATO Deputy Secretary General said that the world had entered an era of great power competition. Among these he named Western countries, Russia and China. According to him, in the current situation, the United States needs European allies, while Joana noted that the countries of the European Union are not investing enough in defense.
