Mexico City.- The top winners of the Liga MX, America club and Chivas de Guadalajarawith fourteen and twelve titles, respectively, will meet face to face in the semi-finals of the Closing 2024 of the MX League.
The teams with the largest fans in the Mexican republic will compete for a new direct elimination key, in this Leagueafter eliminating Club Pachuca and Toluca FCcorrespondingly.

Cremas and rojiblancos will face each other for the fourth time in semis since the establishment of short tournaments in national football back in 1996.
Chivas de Guadalajara took the first key 2-0 on aggregate in Apettura 2006. In the following semester, Clausura 2007, Club América took revenge with the same score in 190 minutes.
What remained as the last version of the National Classic in the semis was in the Clausura 2023 contest. The Sacred Flock eliminated the feathered team 3-2 on aggregate.
It is almost certain that the next reciprocal visit match will be played on Wednesday at the Akron stadium and on Saturday at the Azteca stadium pending the announcement of the Liga MX.
