After overeating, it is useful to go for a walk, says Olga Bayan, a nutrition expert and bioniq brand nutritionist. In an interview with Lenta.ru, she named ways to help get rid of the consequences of gluttony.
“We do not live in scarce times, and a person has access to different products. Nevertheless, many people still have the habit of eating “like the last time,” Bayan states.
According to her, overeating leads to nausea, a feeling of heaviness, bloating, diarrhea or constipation. The consequence of this may be an exacerbation of chronic diseases.
Bayan said that after an overly satisfying meal, in no case should you scold yourself and punish yourself with hunger. When you feel good, it is better to take a walk. If the consequences of overeating cause discomfort, then it is worth spending some time alone.
No further action is required, but after a few days it is worth paying attention to your diet. At the same time, there is no need to arrange fasting days: the psyche perceives this as a “punishment”. The menu should be as light as possible, but balanced.
