Muscovites found a post-apocalyptic Moscow metro station

Muscovites have found a post-apocalyptic Moscow metro station. A netizen published pictures taken at the Kuntsevskaya BKL station, in Facebook-group “My Moscow” and expressed her admiration for its design, but many users did not share the woman’s opinion.

The photographs show gray marble walls and square columns, as well as powerful cylindrical lamps on the ceiling in the same color scheme.

“Gloomy somehow,” the user wrote in the comments. “Yes, a bit dark, but I like the station. Ascetic. Look at the yellow things on the rails, ”the author of the post noted in response. “This is a contact rail along which electricity flows. At old stations, it passes under the overhang of the platform, so it is not visible,” they explained to her.

“The most terrible of the new stations, some kind of post-apocalypse,” one of the community followers gave a negative assessment of the design.

Earlier, a blogger from Moscow appreciated the convenience of the new BCL stations.
