The official X account of MultiVersus has actually confirmed the arrival of Joker among the playable characters of the new version of the game, arriving on May 28, 2024. He did so by publishing a particularly explicit image, which shows an open gift package, from which the onomatopoeias of a loud laugh emerge. Note that the package was closed with a padlock, which was also open and had “Open” written on it. For the rest, the dominant colors are precisely those typical of the character: purple, yellow and green.
The text of the post is also indicative, which reads: “And. Here. We. Go.”, which we can consider a nice way to confirm some rumors that have emerged in recent weeks regarding the inclusion of the character.
The first images
However, the content creator tekoa., dedicated to MultiVersus, did even better by directly publishing the images of the Joker how it will appear within MultiVersus.
In one we can see Joker holding his next one criminal project: eliminate his arch-nemesis Batman (what else could a bat with an X on it mean?). In the other we see the Joker lying down. At this point we can’t wait to watch it in action.
MultiVersus is returning after more than a year’s absence. Warner Bros. withdrew it from the market to modify it following the dramatic decline in the number of players. Now he wants to relaunch it with new content and many revised elements. A stellar cast therefore awaits us iconic characters from its intellectual properties, a PVE mode, two new heroes and more.
MultiVersus will be (re)published as free-to-play on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). It will support cross-play and cross-progression, to the delight of those who play on different devices.
