This year too we are ready for a slew of conferences, announcements and trade shows dedicated to video games. Here’s how to follow us and not miss any news!
If you have been following Multiplayer.it for a few years you should know what the best thing about summer is. How do you say? Aligi’s beach photos?! Okay, let’s say then the second thing most beautiful of the summer. Punctually like every year, that period of big announcements, streaming events, trailers and demos to try while sitting comfortably at home, popsicle in one hand, pad in the other returns (in the days of the Wii it was easier).
To best tell you about all these news and presentations Multiplayer.it Summer of Games begins, our now traditional umbrella under which you will find all the news, insights, videos and live broadcasts on the events and announcements of the coming weeks. Also this summer we will not limit ourselves to following the digital events from Italy (by the way, don’t miss tonight’s State of Play!) but the editorial team will be physically present in Los Angeles, Cologne and Tokyo to follow Summer Game Fest, Gamescom and Tokyo Game Show, the three major international fairs of these months.
Ready for the Summer Game Fest
The Summer Game Fest in June will open the ball. As in years past, not only will there be a series of conferences and digital events filled with announcements and trailers, but Los Angeles will also host the Summer Game Fest Play Days, three days of appointments and meetings in which to attend presentations of new games, interview developers and try out some of the most anticipated video games that will arrive on PC, console and mobile in the future. Lorenzo Mancosu and Vincenzo Lettera will fly to the United States to tell you all the news in preview, with exclusive videos, in-depth articles and background on the event.
A live marathon!
As if that wasn’t enough, this time too the Multiplayer.it editorial team will talk about and comment on the Summer Game Fest every day through a long live marathon. From 6 to 10 June starting from 4pm and continuing until night, Pierpaolo, Giordana, Aligi, Francesco, Kobe and Alessio will be live on the Multiplayer.it Twitch channel to follow and comment on all the conferences and news from the fair (on the home page of the site you will already find the calendar with a preview of the live events). The big news this year is that the live marathon can be followed both from the comfort of home via Twitch and in person at the White Rabbit in Rome, with the possibility for the editorial staff to meet readers in what will be one of the busiest weeks daring for video game enthusiasts. If you want an example of what to expect next week, check out this summary from last year’s edition.
The goal is therefore to keep you company every day with coverage that is as complete, interesting and fun as possible. In addition to keeping an eye on the Multiplayer.it pages and the special page dedicated to Multiplayer.it Summer of Games, the invitation is therefore to subscribe to the channel YouTube and that Twitchwhile for all the behind the scenes and curiosities follow the Multiplayer.it Instagram and TikTok channels.
