MotoGP like F1
Tough days for those who can't tolerate aerodynamic development in MotoGP. After what emerged in shakedown of Sepang, where wings, fins, tails, diffusers and much more were seen, today there are those who have switched to aerodynamic rakes. Just like in Formula 1.
This is the case of Miguel Oliveirawho on the first day of official testing on the Malaysian track rode with the Pitot tubes on the tail of his Aprilia: scenes that are now also accepted on two wheels.
Oliveira with the rakes, the video
This is the video showing the Trackhouse team driver with the rakes.
These aerodynamic solutions have often been opposed and ridiculed by those who think that MotoGP should be a competition between motorbikes and not between “aircraft” which reduce the rider's contribution to a minimum
