The Austrian Grand Prix will be part of the MotoGP calendar until 2030 thanks to a renewal of the contract currently in force for another five years, which will therefore allow many other emotions to be experienced on the spectacular Red Bull Ring circuit also in the period from 2026 to 2030.
After almost two decades, the Austrian GP returned to the calendar in 2016 to the delight of many fans, winning the title of best Grand Prix before regaining this recognition again in 2019. Located among the splendid hills of Styria in location of Spielberg, the Red Bull Ring offers a magical backdrop to MotoG, with fantastic races, spectacular duels at the last corner and an intense program over the course of the Grand Prix weekend.
“Everyone who loves motorsport loves MotoGP. The highest form of competition. When the best riders in the world are protagonists head-to-head and there are so many position changes in a lap, no one can stay glued to their seat. Once you have experienced firsthand the experience and passion of the fans here at the Red Bull Ring, you can no longer do without it. I am thrilled to have been able to reach this long-term agreement which will allow us to have this great show in Austria and especially in Styria,” said Red Bull Ring owner Mark Mateschitz.
