Martin, pole and doubts
Even after obtaining pole position and breaking the Mugello track record, Jorge Martin he has some doubts about his potential this weekend. The Spaniard believes he is not the favorite especially for tomorrow’s race, when he could suffer in terms of pace.
Martin’s words
However, the progress on the time attack compared to yesterday is important: “Today it won’t be a management competition, but tomorrow it will be a long one, however we have made a good step: seven tenths on the time attack is enough. We are on the right path but we are not 100% yet“, this is his immediate comment to the microphones of Sky Sports MotoGP.
“I tried to work with the soft on the rear, we work more with used tyres. The rear tire is not a problem, The front gives me more worrieslet’s see whether to use the soft or medium”.
“We’re still a little far from the feeling I’d like to have, especially with the tire used up front. For this track I’m not 100%, we made some changes front and rear, but I can’t find the optimal sensations with the bike. In short, I feel good but these are going too fast, let’s try to get closer in pace“.
