It's time for presentations for MotoGP and it must be said that this year started immediately with a bang. Not even 48 hours ago we witnessed Gresini Racing, which unveiled Marc Marquez's first Ducati, while today it is the turn of the reigning world champions.
From Madonna di Campiglio, the Borgo Panigale manufacturer will unveil the Desmosedici GP24 with which Pecco Bagnaia will try to go after his third consecutive world title in the premier class and with which Enea Bastianini will instead have to redeem himself, after a 2023 ruined by injuries, to deserve reconfirmation in the Red factory team.
But we won't just be talking about MotoGP, because the bearers of Aruba.it Racing will also take to the stage, showing the 2024 version of the Panigale V4. The objectives are also important in Superbike, because Alvaro Bautista is also coming off a double world championship in 2022 and 2023 and will want to grant the hat trick despite the latest regulatory vicissitudes which seem to be able to penalize light riders like him. He changes his teammate: instead of Michael Rinaldi, the reigning Supersport world champion, Nicolò Bulega, moves up in category.
And that's not all, because the event on the snows of Trentino will also mark the official debut of the new Ducati Corse Off-Road department, which this year will bring the Bolognese brand to its debut in Motocross, taking part in the Italian Championship. Here too the ambitions are important and it is enough to name one name to understand it: the nine-time world champion Tony Cairoli is in charge of the development of the new creature, furthermore the general director of the program is the former sporting director of MotoGP, Paolo Ciabatti.
The event will start at 10.30 am and you can follow it conveniently via streaming here on Motorsport.com. Below you will find interviews and insights directly from Madonna di Campiglio.
