Enea Bastianini seems to have started the MotoGP race weekend well which takes place at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin.
The official Ducati rider seems like a different rider compared to last year both due to a better physical situation and a better feeling on the Desmosedici GP24.
After the first day on the track, the Italian admitted that he still had to work to improve his performance, especially in the third sector.
“In the third sector I am one of the slowest and I can improve. Overall I am wavering during the lap and I know I have the opportunity to improve. We will have to try to do so.”

Bastianini went into more depth about the problems that are slowing him down at the start of the season. The difficulties concern entering corners, but above all braking. This is where Enea struggles more than his brand mates.
“I don't remember the sensations I had in 2022 very well, but with the 2024 bike things are going well. I only struggle a little when entering corners, and I struggle a lot when braking. This is the point where I've suffered the most up until now But it was also like this in Qatar and Portimao.”
“We have to work in that area to try to find solutions and improve. I can do it, because other riders do it compared to me. I noticed this by reading the data. We need to try some solutions to resolve the situation.”
