MotoGP Austin, special guest in the KTM garage
In the Austin paddock the space is entirely reserved for motorbikes, where the show between the minor categories and MotoGP has just started. Today, however, there is also a pinch of Formula 1. In the KTM garage, in fact, there is a special guest: it is Günther Steinerformer team principal of Haas.

Steiner was removed from his position at Haas after the 2023 season: in his place, owner Gene chose an internal rotation that brought Ayao Komatsu to the top of the wall.
Steiner suddenly found himself without a team after having driven Haas in F1 since the first GP, that of Melbourne in 2016. The Merano native has “recycled” himself as a television commentator and columnist of the Formula 1 website. It is clear, however, that Steiner is waiting for a call to return to the paddock as a protagonist: the only restriction he sets is that of having an ambitious project, which – as he has implied from some interviews – does not believes Haas has.
