The engines are restarted, MotoGP is back in action and it does so in Le Mans, where the fifth round of the season takes place this weekend. On the historic French track, Aprilia presents itself strengthened by the great growth shown in this start of the championship and by the past full of satisfactions at Bugatti.
Maverick Vinales arrives in France occupying fifth position in the championship after a more complicated Spanish Grand Prix than expected, but happy with the work done in the Jerez tests last week. This year, the Spaniard has signed two of the four Sprints contested, also winning the Sunday race in Austin and finally realizing the potential of the RS-GP-
At Le Mans, the driver from Roses aims to continue along this line in order to confirm himself among the favourites. Last year, Vinales was involved in the accident with Pecco Bagnaia which put them both out of the race, but in 2024 he will aim to redeem himself and feels he has all it takes to dictate the pace: “Le Mans is a track where I I’ve always felt competitive.”

“I have the feeling that this year will be special because of the level we have reached and the way I feel on the RS-GP24. I think Le Mans will be one of the tracks where we will be strongest. I get there focused and motivated. The atmosphere in France is fantastic, as is the circuit. I can’t wait to see the Aprilia fans in the stands!”, declared the Spaniard.
The person who has achieved the least at the start of the season is Aleix Espargaro, who however is praising Aprilia’s great progress. The new RS-GP represents a big step forward compared to last year’s version and the Catalan will aim to bring it to success this weekend.

The Catalan enters the French Grand Prix with eighth position in the general classification and, after a weekend at home to forget in which he did not collect any points, he will try to redeem himself where in the past he has gained several satisfactions: “I’m happy to go to Le Mans, a legendary circuit where braking is key. The weather is always complicated, so it will be a challenge from this point of view.”
“It’s a track that I like, where I got on the podium two years ago and where I got an eighth and a fifth position last year. I can’t wait to get there and start reaping the results we deserve,” concluded Aleix Espargaro.
