“I feel fine physically, but I had a check-up this morning at the IMED hospital in Valencia, where I did a CT scan to see how the kidney hematoma is, and we have seen that it is not yet 100% recovered. The hematoma has not disappeared and the doctors advised me not to go to Misano, telling me I might be fit for Portugal, which is something that motivates me. However, I am sad to miss this Grand Prix, since I am in third position in the championship and another zero will penalize me in the standings. I am motivated and more eager than ever to get on the GASGAS“, These are the words of Garcia.
Garcia is third in the drivers’ championship, 50 points behind Pedro Acosta. In theory he still has a chance of winning the final, but it is really a case of school (he must win the last two, hope that Acosta does not win even a point from here to the end and that Dennis Foggia does not make at least 30). The Leopard team rider certainly has more chances, but 30 points behind, with only three races to go, is a lot. For the blue, the hope is that Acosta will continue his moment like this and that his Honda will continue to take him to the podium.
