Motel Fortest is an exclusive, eccentric and unpredictable motel where everything is allowed except sleeping. The owner is a surreal magician who will illustrate his many themed rooms in a light flight full of surprises, between magic, madness and unexpected reflections. Each room corresponds to a feeling or a human emotion, in fact what is a motel if not a perfect metaphor for life: you arrive, you stop, you wonder if you will meet friends or enemies, lovers or monsters, mites or kings, and then you leave. It will be a bizarre and carefree journey seen through the distorted lens of comedy, but fear and thrills are also part of the adventure of life so you may come across creepy relics temporarily borrowed from the famous rooms of Psycho and Shining. To help the magician, or rather to hinder him in this imaginative tour of the rooms, there will also be an unlikely service staff, one is the elevator boy, a failed rock star due to misunderstandings with the penal code and a former old-school noisemaker, supplanted by technology. The other is the security manager, a former bodyguard with an embarrassing resume. Entering here will be like visiting a museum where the works are hung on the walls of the mind, a mind with intermittent lights, just like that of the flickering neon sign. But don’t be afraid of the dark: at the Motel Forest when the lights go out, dreams come on.

Famous above all for his television career, Michele Foresta, or rather the Magician Forest, tries his hand at a theatrical show that gathers the best of his production, his natural sense of humor mixed with the art of magic. The tricks, even if prepared by hand with drills and knives and staged in a daring and intentionally clumsy way, always succeed, or almost.

There is a lot of laughter during the two-hour show. Able to involve the audience and make them participate in the scene, Forest does not spare, good-naturedly, anything or anyone. Incisive and educated at the same time, he is the absolute master of the stage. His Motel Forest thus becomes more of a state of mind than a real material place, where feelings meet, illusions become reality and magic becomes an instrument.
