Most of the five victims of an armed attack on Saturday night at a home where a quinceañera party was being held were minors.
The State Attorney General’s Office identified some of them. The events occurred on Marcelo Caraveo and Santa Isabel streets, in the San Felipe Del Real neighborhood shortly before midnight. The report states that, at around 10:40 p.m., the authorities received a call alerting of gunshots at this address. Upon arrival, personnel from Forensic Sciences and Forensic Services who carried out the processing of the scene, initially located the lifeless bodies of three people, an unidentified woman, between 15 and 20 years of age; a 16-year-old minor, identified at the site as KHR, as well as another male not identified so far. In addition, the death of a 17-year-old teenager, with the initials IMO, was reported, while he was receiving medical attention. Likewise, the death of Daniel TH, 19 years old, was reported inside a private vehicle in which he was being transferred to a hospital. As a result of these events, four more people, two of them minors, were injured by a firearm projectile and remain hospitalized. Through the Crimes Against Life Unit of the District Attorney’s Office of the Northern Zone, investigations are being carried out to clarify this incident.
