Some 1,200 people demonstrated this Saturday in front of the Valencian Parliament to demand the resignation of the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and the President of the Generalitat Valenciana, Carlos Mazón, considering them “guilty” of the management of the catastrophe generated by the DANA.
According to the Workers’ Front, which called the demonstration from 12:00 p.m., during the mobilization slogans such as ‘PSOE traitor, neither worker nor Spanish!’, ‘Sánchez and Mazón resign!’ or ‘Valencia does not forgive those who abandon it!’. With red banners containing the party logo, red and yellow and republican flags, the protesters also carried signs calling for the resignation of the presidents.
In addition, the leader of Frente Obrero, Roberto Vaquero, called on his social networks to protest to “demand responsibilities” in the face of “lack of foresight and reaction” of the political class in the face of the Valencia catastrophe.
Likewise, This was not the first time that the militants mobilized because throughout the week the Frente Obrero was organizing its followers in the areas affected by DANA to collect debris, clean sidewalks and patrol the streets at night with neighbors to prevent “certain elements without profession or benefit tried to profit and take advantage of the situation”.
