Zoe Deyanan: “What kind of teen empowerment is this?”
The young Zoe Deyanan published a series of stories on her Instagram account where she not only shows her support for Camila Hernández, but also specifies why she considers the contest to be “fixed”.
“Two of the winners did not meet all the challenges, they passed that easy. I am a candidate who, like Camila Hernández, is outraged and disappointed. I think that like all of us, we were with that illusion of having a healthy competition, many points of the contract were not fulfilled. What kind of teen empowerment is this? Not only do I say it for myself, but there were also girls who really deserved to win the top 10 and even the top 20, “he commented.
“Miss Peru La Pre, next time be honest and you would have better told us: ‘Girls, this is just a preparation workshop and you will not participate in any contest. You decide if you enroll or not’. All the effort we put into it was in vain.”Zoe added.

He also recognized the work of the provincial candidates. “And what about the girls from the provinces who had to travel to Lima to represent their region. Nicole Astete, Silvana García, Camila Carrera, Francesca Buonocore, among others. For me, the four were incredible, they deserved more. All of that is unfortunate, ”she concluded.
Evelyn Navarrete: “I’m not surprised with the result”
On the other hand, former participant Evelyn Navarrete was also encouraged to share her point of view on social networks. “Only I will say that I am not surprised with the result they have given (I already saw it coming). There were girls who did deserve that crown. Girls who worked hard and should have won. Mía Loveday is one of them, who has well deserved the crown, and also Alondra (Huarac), who has already been Miss before”, she commented.
“This was for the organization, not the fault of the girls, they are not to blame for anything and they do not deserve the hate (hate) they are receiving, nor the criticism. Those are totally out of place things.”he asserted.
Dayanna Jireh: “If the competition had been fair, the candidates would not be raising their voices in protest”
The former candidate Dayanna Jireh applauded the way in which several of her companions responded in the final interview of Miss Peru La Pre 2022 and criticized the organization for “playing with time” of the candidates.
“I support all my colleagues who are upset with the results, since this favoritism was seen from day one and became more evident within the top 40, top 20, top 10 and in the final stretch of interviews. Many of the girls who were not crowned gave impeccable answers, with a very good track record (…) I, having shared with all my colleagues, know who really should have gone on to the next stages, ”she commented at the beginning.
Then, he revealed that several of the candidates did not behave according to the situation. “I know who should have stayed because they did not attend, they did not meet challenges, they did not give importance to the contest and they behaved in an inappropriate manner.which were supposed to be the evaluation criteria”
“It is unfortunate that they have played with the feelings of many girls and not only that, but also over time, since several of us leave things aside to give importance to the contest (…) If the competition had been fair, rest assured that the candidates would not be raising their voices in protest.”said Dayanna Jireh.
