The perspective that Spaniards have of what the country will be like in 10 years does not invite optimism. There will be, according to half of the population, more poverty, more unemployment, deaths from cancer will skyrocket, loneliness will increase, and wars and climate disasters will subjugate the world.
This is clear from the survey on social trends which was published this Wednesday by the public Center for Sociological Research (CIS), based on 35 questions asked between November 8 and 14 with more than 3,800 interviews with citizens from all communities. The main conclusions indicate that the four main problems that will exist in the world in 10 years will be, in this order, wars, climate change, poverty and unemployment.
