Today Sony Pictures announced the official release date of Morbius, a film dedicated to the famous Spider-Man enemy who will be played by Jared Leto.
The date for now is only the American one, but in all probability it will be confirmed: it is January 28th. Furthermore, the film will most likely have links with Spider-Man and Venom, although nothing is confirmed yet.

Sony has finally also revealed the poster that depicts the double face of the Marvel character.
One of Marvel’s most enigmatic and haunted characters, anti-hero Michael Morbius, arrives on the big screen played by Academy Award®-winning actor Jared Leto. Infected with a rare and dangerous blood disease, determined to save anyone who is destined to suffer his own fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate bet. What initially appears to be a success soon turns out to be a potentially more dangerous remedy than the disease itself.
