MONSTER HUNTER RISE: SUNBREAK – Trailer for Double Blades and Light Crossbow

CAPCOM shows us the changes that will be made to Double blades and to Light crossbow in MONSTER HUNTER RISE: SUNBREAK. These are the last two videos that will allow us to discover all the news that will be applied thanks to the expansion. In addition to the trailers, the software house has released all the information on Exchange Skills and the Silkweave techniques which will be introduced within the expansion, you can find all the details at the end of the article.

MONSTER HUNTER RISE: SUNBREAK – New weapons

Double blades

Blades that strike in rapid succession. Activate demon mode to execute deadly vaulting around your enemies while consuming your stamina.

Swap Skill – Sliding Slash Combo

Fly like a butterfly, sting like a bee. This technique grants the attacker the ability to strike while dodging and, if interrupted, can be used as an instant brawl.

Silkweave – Spiral Slash

Powerful attack loaded with wire bug and rotating blades. Just let the tip of the blade touch the meat to cut it deeply. The result of research to improve a related technique, it can also be activated in mid-air.

Light crossbow

Ideal weapon for ranged combat. It can quickly fire a flurry of rounds or inflict status ailments based on the type of ammunition.

Trading Skill – Critical Firepower

Particular firing technique that reduces the distance required to further increase the firepower. The distance between you and the target is important, because the space required for the projectile to reach maximum efficiency is reduced.

Note: Does not apply to certain bullets.

Silkweave – Wyvern Counterattack

Urgent retreat that fires a shot with huge recoil, using a wire bug to stop. It can deal minor damage, but is most effective when it coincides with a monster’s attack, causing the explosion to tame breath attacks.
