If winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans is a feat in itself, doing it two years in a row (especially if the competition is super fierce) is legendary. She succeeded Ferrari which, albeit with a different crew, repeated the historic success of the 2023 centenary edition again this year.
A victory full of emotions that of the Fuoco-Molina-Nielsen trio, which also broke another taboo that was resisting even for 90 years. Thanks also to the success of Charles Leclerc in his Monte Carlo, the Cavallino managed to complete its mission winning both the Monaco Grand Prix and the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the same year which had only succeeded inAlfa Romeo in 1934.
In that year, when Formula 1 had not yet been founded (the first race was held only 16 years later, in 1950), the Arese company won Le Mans with an 8C 2300 driven by the Luigi Chinetti-Philippe Étancelin duo. , while in the Principality he even scored a double thanks to Guy Moll and Louis Chiron.
Another curiosity: the P3 Tipo B with which Moll won in Monaco was prepared by Scuderia Ferrari, founded just five years earlier.
