Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” and Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, discussed cooperation relations between the two countries and opportunities to strengthen them and expand their horizons to wider areas in a way that contributes to achieving the common interests of the two countries and their aspirations towards progress, development and sustainable prosperity.
His Highness said in his official account on the “X” platform: “I was pleased to meet His Excellency President Ilham Aliyev in Baku. We discussed the developing relations between the UAE and Azerbaijan and ways to strengthen and push them forward, especially in the vital areas that support development, progress and prosperity in the two countries.”
