His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister, may God protect him, in his capacity as Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai, issued Resolution No. 2 of 2024 to reconstitute the Board of Directors of the Digital School, one of the initiatives of the “Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation.”
According to the decision, the Board of Directors of the Digital School includes His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications, as Chairman of the Board, and the membership of: His Excellency Dr. Hamdan Musallam Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, and Hoda Al Hashemi, Assistant Minister. Cabinet Affairs for Strategy Affairs, Sultan Al Shamsi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Development Affairs and International Organizations, Aisha Abdullah Miran, Director General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai, Dr. Muhammad Qasim Khudair Qasim, Dean of the Dubai Future Academy, and Dr. Walid Al Ali, Senior Advisor at the Initiatives Foundation. The Council’s work extends for 3 years from the date of issuance of the decision. If the term expires, the members will continue their duties until they are reappointed or a new board of directors is appointed for the digital school, while the board of directors assumes the duties of managing the digital school in accordance with the procedures stipulated in the school’s statute.

It has also trained more than 2,500 digital teachers, while educational and training content is provided in four languages: Arabic, English, French, and Spanish.
