Belitsa, mobilized from the DPR, survived torture in Ukrainian captivity
Mobilized from the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Sergei Belitsa survived after Ukrainian soldiers shot him in the head and then tortured him in captivity. Writes about this RIA News. He said that he was mobilized in February 2022 and captured in January 2023.
“They made me kneel, no one spoke to me, and they shot me in the head,” Belitsa said. He said that the bullet went right through and he survived. After this, the fighter tried to find his colleagues, but he was noticed by the Ukrainian military. They mistook Belitsa for one of their own, and he was given medical assistance, but doctors found Russian identification marks on him. After this, the fighter began to be interrogated and tortured.
