Disney released the teaser trailer for the computer graphics animated film Moana 2That Here it will be called Oceania 2. The reason? The title of the first chapter was changed due to the homonymy with the late porn star Moana Pozzi. The protagonist herself, Moana, was renamed Moana for the same reason. Obviously the changes were also maintained in the sequel.
As previously announced, the film will be launched in Italian cinemas on November 28, 2024. So it will be Disney’s Christmas film for the whole family, hopefully it will do better than Wish.

The video lasts almost two minutes and shows various sequences taken from the film. An adult Vaiana must set off on a new adventure, in which he will once again drag his dumb rooster and apparently a cute little pig. Of course, Maui will also return, appearing at the end of the movie.
In the English version, Auli’i Cravalho will once again voice Moana, while Maui will once again be played by Dwayne Johnsonbetter known as The Rock.
Moana 2 is set three years after the events of the first episode. Moana and Maui meet again to undertake a new adventurous journey, together with an unlikely crew. In this case, what pushes the girl to leave is the voice of her ancestors, who warn her of a danger. To face him she will have to reach dangerous and forgotten waters.
The new movie is directed by David Derrick Jr., Jason Hand and Dana Ledoux Miller, and produced by Christina Chen and Yvett Merino. The soundtrack features music by Grammy winners Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear, Grammy nominee Opetaia Foaʻi and three-time Grammy winner Mark Mancina.
