The atmosphere of the final, which was calm between the fans of Bucaramanga and Santa Fe, heated up due to two events: the overflow of local fans in the Alfonso López stadium and the aggression denounced by the red president, Eduardo Méndez, of part of the logistics.

“What if we are winning 1-0 and they take the field to harm us. Santa Fe is not going to take risks,” explained the manager.
The previous agreement established that in the first leg, one thousand Santa Fe fans would be allowed to enter Alfonso López and the same number of Bucaramanga fans would have access to El Campín. That, for now, is broken.
Mininterior seeks a solution for visiting fans to enter El Campín
“On Tuesday, June 11, together with the entities that make up the local soccer commission of Bogotá, we will review in detail aspects for the match that will be played at the El Campín stadium and we will establish the pertinent agreements within the framework of human security and coexistence”, Mininterior announced on his X account.
“Football is passion, dedication, family, it is a team and UNION. We invite all actors in the football ecosystem so that the final that will be played next Saturday between @SantaFe vs. @ABucaramanga, takes place in an atmosphere of respect, joy and peace,” he added in another post.

The mayor of Bucaramanga had already asked to reconsider the decision
“There were agreements agreed on the reciprocity of visiting fans that cannot be ignored. In Bucaramanga we believe that football should be lived in peace and with both fans cheering, that is why we gladly received more than 1,000 followers from Santa Fe, guaranteeing their safety from entering to leaving the city, with cordiality and respect.” Beltran wrote.
Bucaramanga is exposed to a penalty for pitch invasion. The position could be suspended between one and three dates, according to the Federation’s Single Disciplinary Code.
