Bad news for the Minecraft Fans who love virtual reality. The developers have made it known that during the early 2025 it will no longer be possible to play Mojang’s title using the PlayStation VR available for PlayStation 4.
The news comes from the game’s official website, where it is specified that support will end in March 2025after arriving in September 2020 as a free update. This means that you will still be able to continue playing the title, keeping your worlds and all purchases made on the Marketplaceincluding Tokens.
The only thing different from the rest is the fact that you will no longer be able to use the PlayStation VR to immerse yourself in the worlds you have modified over time. But why did Mojang decide to pull the plug on this possibility? Well, it is very likely that it is for the number of players in sharp decline. If we take into account the fact that it has never been such a high numberso that’s enough to convince developers to drop support for something that isn’t used that much.
If you are part of this niche of people who prefer immerse yourself in the world of Minecraftwe remind you again that you can do it until March 2025. Unfortunately there is no precise date yet. One thing that has arrived quite recently is the trailer of the film dedicated to Minecraft, where it is possible see Momoa and Jack Black.
