Milan transfer market, Demiral from Saudi Arabia? Difficult negotiation
Merih Demiral remains a hot name for the Milan's defense in these last hours of the transfer market, but the track is very complicated: the 25-year-old former Juventus and Atalanta defender would leave the Saudi Pro League and the Rossoneri would borrow him for six months, but theAl-Ahli he is not open to this solution and values the player's price tag at 20 million. On this basis it is impossible to think of white smoke. Meanwhile the names of Jakub Kiwior (Arsenal), Clément Lengle (Aston Villa on loan from Barcelona), Lilian Brassier (Brest which values it at 12/13 million) are now practically 'archived'. Milan continues to look for a defender, hoping for some last minute offers, but for now there is nothing and only a last minute 'miracle' could change the situation. In the absence of purchases, Stefano Pioli will count on Simon Kjaer, Matteo Gabbiamore Theo Hernandez possible power station, Jan-Carlo Simic (in the championship) e Marco Pellegrino (but the Argentine could be loaned: Sampdoria, Cagliari, Anderlecht and Verona in the running), waiting for the returns of Malik Thiaw (around the end of February), Fikayo Tomori (just beyond Thiaw) e Pierre Kalulu (in March).
Milan transfer market, Lacroix under observation
Milan remains on Maxence Lacroix, Wolfsburg defender born in 2000. The French central defender is liked but not from a January perspective, it could be a coup for next season. The Rossoneri observers were in the stands to follow his performance in the drawn match against Cologne.

Milan transfer market, Zirkzee dream prince for the attack
Joshua Zirkzee is the dream of AC Milan fans. The 22-year-old Bologna striker enchanted everyone on the night at San Siro: he dances with the ball, he has technique, physique and at times he seemed almost unstoppable. His season (8 goals and 2 assists in the league, 1 goal and 2 winning passes in the Italian Cup) is putting him under the spotlight of many clubs even abroad (primarily the big Premier League ones) and he could be reacquired by Bayern Monaco for 40 million. But Milan is strong on him and will try to launch a super attack with Leao and Pulisic on the sides. Then, there is Benjamin Sesko, more than just an alternative: born in 2003, the Slovenian from Leipzig is a top plauer announced in the coming years, a top level talent who has always been very popular with the Rossoneri technical staff (for him they range from 50 million upwards), to follow Santiago Gimenez of Feyenoord (19 goals in 19 days in the Eredivisie), Jonathan David of Lille (liked but he is more of a forward in movement than a classic centre-forward as the Rossoneri seem to be oriented) and the 25-year-old Viktor Gyökeres of Sporting Lisbon.
Milan transfer market, Traore towards Pafundi's Lausanne
Chaka Traore could leave Milan on loan for the next six months. According to La Gazzetta, the young Ivorian attacking winger (born in 2004) is liked by Lausanne (the Swiss team that also signed the 17-year-old Italian talent Simone Pafundi of Udinese (loan until 31 December 2024, with right of redemption set at 15 million euros) and as an alternative to Wba, fifth in the Championship.
Milan, Bennacer aims for Frosinone
In the meantime, good news for Pioli arrives in midfield. No last minute purchases, but the expected return of Ismael Bennacerreturned from the Africa Cup of Nations (after the elimination of Algeria in the group stage): the slight muscle fatigue seems to have disappeared and he should be back at Stefano Pioli's disposal on Saturday for the away match at Frosinone.
