Morena Party: candidate Sheinbaum wins Mexican presidential election
The candidate of Mexico’s ruling Morena party, Claudia Sheinbaum, wins the country’s presidential election according to exit polls, said the chairman of the political force, Mario Delgado, during a speech at the election headquarters. His words lead RIA News.

“Claudia Sheinbaum will be the first female president in our history and in the history of North America,” Delgado added.
He pointed out that the candidate from the Morena party, according to the exit polls, has a large advantage over his opponent from the PRI and PAN parties with a difference of two to one.
On Sunday, June 2, Mexicans voted in general elections to determine the future president, congress, several state governors and local authorities. The results will be announced after the final vote count, which will last June 5-8.
Earlier it was reported that the candidate for mayor of the Mexican city of Coyuca de Benitez from the center-right alliance “Strength and Heart for Mexico,” Jose Alfredo Cabrera Barrientos, was shot during the final election rally; he did not survive.
