A Mexican chess player generated a stir on social networks by open a collection on the internet to get resources to participate in the U-20 World Cup to be held in Olbia (Italy), from October 11 to 23.
This is Andrea Ruiz Villalba, who, according to what she publishes on the page where she asks for donations for her participation, will represent the entire continent.

This was the request of the chess player in social networks
“As an official player representing America, I have food and lodging expenses covered, so the objective of this campaign is to finance transportation expenses. It would make me very happy to have her help, ”the player wrote on the page she set up to collect funds.
The issue generated enormous confusion, since Many Colombians began to respond to the trill with strong criticism of their government, thinking that the chess player was their compatriot.

The trill in which Andrea requested help on Twitter had more than 22 thousand “likes”, many of them from Colombians. And already some foundations offered her help to move her to Italy.
