A few hours ago a direct was released on the account of Atlus in Youtube, even in which they have given us a very long walk through this game, in which we have seen how the character is going to be handled, something similar to the Persona franchise, and some of the gameplay has also been shown, including the battles. Dungeon exploration has also been showcased by the creators, with puzzles to complete and enemies that seem like a clear mix of SMT and Person.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is a fantasy RPG in which players will embark on an exciting adventure through a world inhabited by eight disputed tribes whose throne has been left empty after the assassination of the king. With no heirs to the crown, the late king dictates that the new monarch will be elected by the people, thus marking the beginning of the fight for the throne… and for tomorrow.
This epic story includes tough turn-based combat against powerful enemies and other candidates for the throne, deep party customization thanks to endless class combinations, dungeon exploration, and confrontations against the greatest threat in this world: humans.

Author's note: This game looks pretty good, especially because the fighting part is something different from what we know from this development company. We will have to wait to find out more details for the launch, which is not as far away as about five months ahead.
