With the launch of the Fortnite Festival Season 4scheduled for August 13 – 16, players will be able to unleash a new PvP mode called Battle Stage and the introduction of a series of songs by Metallicacomplete with virtual avatars of James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo.
Battle Park mode sees a maximum of 16 players compete in performances with 4-song setlists. All players will play the same songs, but the four players with the lowest score at the end of each piece will be eliminated, until only the best rock star remains on stage. During these musical duels it will also be possible to hinder your opponents by launching overdrive attacks and increasing your score at the same time.
Metallica-themed rewards and new songs
As mentioned at the beginning, they will be made available during Season 4 6 Metallica songs via the Fortnite Festival Store, all taken from their most famous albums, to be precise:
- Metallica – “Enter Sandman”
- Metallica – “Fuel”
- Metallica – “Master of Puppets”
- Metallica – “Ride the Lightning”
- Metallica – “The Unforgiven”
- Metallica – “Wherever I May Roam”
Not only that, with the path of Premium Battle Pass rewards of Fortnite Festival Season 4, players will get costumes based on the band members, with drummer Lars Ulrich’s costume unlocking immediately. There will also be sets of instruments based on those used by the legendary heavy metal – hard rock band, additional skins and collectibles.
