Barabino & Partners confirms itself as the “Leading Company” in the MergerLinks rankings again this year, for the “PR Consultants EMEA 2023” category (Europe, Middle East and Africa). More specifically, according to the independent institute MergerLinks, Barabino &Partners has 259 deals under its belt during 2023, with an average deal size of £740 million and a total deal value of £68,079 million. With Barabino & Partners at the top of the ranking Brunswick Group and Kekst CNC
Barabino & Partners is the only Italian communications company present in this category in an almost entirely Anglo-Saxon ranking.
Since its entry into the MergerLinks rankings in 2022, Barabino & Partners immediately gained a unique and distinctive positioning, affirming its leadership for two years in a row.
Federico Steiner, General Director of Barabino & Partners explains: “We are extremely satisfied to have been classified for the second consecutive year in the “Leading” category, demonstrating a constant and continuous commitment made over the years in the M&A sector.” Luca Barabino, CEO of Barabino & Partners adds “Barabino & Partners is a company that combines historicity and a leading role in the world of national and international communication, made up of a team of competent and motivated professionals: the result of the Ranking qualifies us once again as a leading communications company and the only Italian reality that emerges with distinctiveness within this context.” It should be highlighted that the ranking published by MergerLinks – a service and intelligence platform in the financial sector which draws up the main ranking of advisors active in M&A (mergers and acquisitions) operations worldwide – expresses the distinctive leadership of Barabino & Partners in the consultancy market in Corporate and Financial Communications. More specifically, the selection criteria to enter the MergerLinks ranking categories involve “minimum criteria” to obtain such recognition.
Categories are assigned based on relative market share which is calculated on the basis of the volumes transacted and the weighted average value for each transaction. For each participating company, the total value, number and average size of the operations concluded in 2023 are calculated. On the basis of these values, a ranking is drawn up on the basis of the number of operations and the average size of the operations which contribute to the calculation of the “Relative Market Share” compared to the first place. And from which B&P comes out on top in the “Leading Company” section.
