Helsinki Popular by newspapers Flight recorder performances will resume in April and May.

For the first time, live journalism evenings will be held in Oulu and Jyväskylä. As usual, the performance will also be seen in Helsinki, Turku and Tampere.

“We are excited when we can respond to the messages and wishes that come from Oulu and Jyväskylä in particular. Now we will! ” says Tuomas Kasevaone Black box producers.

Black box 17 performance will be seen at the National Theater in Helsinki from 21 April to 15 May. The performance at Tampere Hall will take place on April 26. and Jyväskylä City Theater on 28 April. The performance will be seen twice on May 3 at the Turku City Theater, and at the Oulu Theater from 5 to 6 May.

Flight recorder The popularity of the performances has grown steadily since the spring of 2016, when the first evening of live journalism was held in Helsinki. More than 30,000 spectators have already attended the performances.

Also this spring, a dozen Helsingin Sanomat journalists will take the stage, presenting a true story they have been working on for a long time. The subject range ranges from social issues to culture and science and personal stories from insightful analysis.

“The topics and performers are still not told in advance. Flight recorder has repeatedly been praised for being wonderful to get excited about something I would never otherwise delve into, ”says Kaseva.

The performances also take viewers behind the scenes of journalism. This spring’s presentation tells, among other things, what kind of issues related to journalism are being considered by journalists and photographers in the midst of the Russian invasion.
