Singapore GP Special Liveries
After Mercedes and Racing Bulls – but not Red Bull, which instead made a sensational U-turn on the initiative to take to the track with a livery designed by the team’s fans due to issues relating to the weight of the RB20 – Now McLaren also presents a special livery for the night weekend in Singapore. The choice of Woking, together with commercial partner OKX, is to celebrate the history of the team by returning to show a bit of the iconic white that made the McLaren colors of the MP4 era, between the 70s and 90s, unforgettable.
Remembering Senna, Prost and Lauda
A special way to celebrate the return to the lead of the constructors’ standings: a situation that had not occurred for over ten years (McLaren was in the lead at the end of the first race of 2014, in Melbourne) and which materialized just last weekend in Baku with the victory of Oscar Piastri and the fourth place of Lando Norris in the Azerbaijan GP. Thus the iconic white of the “Marlboro” liveries that have characterized two decades of the team’s history as well as the most successful era with Niki Lauda, Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna, returns to create a marriage between past and present papayareplacing the black on the sidepods and engine cover of the MCL38.
McLaren, the legend is reborn
A special and unique colour, which will be on the track only on the occasion of the Singapore GP in Marina Bay taking place this weekend, not by chance called “Legend reborn” and that is “the rebirth of a legend” precisely for reaffirm the team’s return to victory as in its glorious past. Another special tribute to McLaren tradition will be present in the cockpit of Norris and Piastri, where the names of 13 drivers – including Senna, Prost and Lauda – who have written the history of the team will be present.
