President Carlos Mazón has criticized on Monday to the president of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, for “neither coming nor appearing” by the Valencian Community after it suffered the “most serious natural disaster in the history of Spain”, referring to the Dana on October 29.
In a speech in an act of a party prior to the interparliamentary XXVII entitled ‘More Spain, more Europe. Housing policies’ and before the Deputy Secretary of Autonomous and Local Coordination and Electoral Analysis of the PP, Elías Bendodo, who has seen how dozens of popular politicians have applauded eagerly for a minute to Mazón, he has affirmed that Sánchez has had to be this time “in La Moncloa” because here “is not, here does not come.”
The Chief of the Consell has announced that he will soon invite President Sánchez to travel to the Valencian Community to ask him to comply with the reconstruction and contribute “with one of the most forgotten lands” of the country, after suffering “the most dramatic and complicated moment” by the Dana on October 29.
After remembering that his Consell has approved a budget project by 2025 with the accounts of the recovery, “there is another man who has not assumed his responsibility” since, he has opined, “the first mission” of a president is “trying at least to have budgets.”
“If you do not have what you have to have,” he continued in reference to Sánchez, “to present the reconstruction budgets after misfortune (October 29) is that you do not deserve to be the president of the Government of Spain.”
“We have done it in very difficult conditions,” added the president, who has continued that he is “very proud” of having done it despite the adverse political context, without a majority in the regional Parliament.
Housing policies
Mazón has mostly referred to housing policies during his speech and thanked the national leadership of the party chosen by Community and Alicante for this meeting in a matter “that matters so much to people.”
After eight years of governments of the Botànic where “zero” social homes have been executed, he pointed out that in the last year and a half 303 municipalities of the Community “of every political sign, recognize it or not” have almost 2,000 public homes in tender.
In this regard, he pointed out that his government seeks to “expand the offer because it is like the price down” since this “cannot be foured because it generates a Soviet or Venezuelan bubble that,” he said, “does not work.”
Among the measures that implemented, the 25 percent of the Patrimonial Transmissions Tax (ITP) to young people, from 8 to 6 percent, and has indicated that before the end of the legislature it will leave it in 50 percent.
And of the eight years of President Ximo Puig, he pointed out that the rental price and purchase of 45 percent were increased at 90 percent, while left more than 1,500 ‘squatted’ public homes.
“Either this is the Housing Legislature or it will not be because we come from eight years of zero housing,” insisted the president, who has said that his party has decided “to speak less with words and more with facts” in reconstruction after the DANA, through investments in schools, health centers, aid, bridges and roads, among other performances.
